This role ensures the effectiveness of the system, the maintenance of safety competencies, and communication throughout the organization.</p> <p><strong>Your role</strong></p> <p>As Central Safety Support Manager, your role is to support Global R&amp;D's cross-functional safety improvement and maintenance efforts. You will assist the various stakeholders within Global R&amp;D in achieving safety objectives and developing safety skills within Global R&amp;D, thereby fostering a high-level safety culture.</p> <p>You will be supported and certified by an external organization to implement a transformation initiative initiated by the ArcelorMittal Group.</p> <p>Under the supervision of the Global R&amp;D Safety Director, your main activities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Supporting the Research Centers in France, Europe and America in the development of their safety systems and participating in certain deployments.</li> <li>Leading the community of certified trainers, distributed throughout the Centers, and safety representatives.</li> <li>Ensuring consistent deployments and the effective implementation of safety standards and routines, identifying gaps, and proposing improvement actions. </li> <li>Maintain the cross-functionality of actions carried out within Global R&amp;D.</li> <li>Monitor and communicate performance and progress measurement indicators, as well as associated action plans.</li> <li>Communicate with Research Centers on safety regulations (strengths, gaps, procedures, etc.) and tools and methods.</li> <li>Contribute to the development and implementation of Process Safety.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your profile</strong></p> <ul> <li>With an engineering background, Bac+5 or equivalent experience, you have at least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment or in R&amp;D.</li> <li>A specialization or experience in an HSE structure and training in HSE management systems ISO45001 and ISO14001 are an asset.</li> <li>You are fluent in English and have some knowledge of French.</li> <li>Beyond your technical skills, you enjoy working in the field, you have an open mind and good interpersonal skills with the teams. You have abilities in cross-functional management, communication skills, leadership, and the ability to unite.</li> <li>You are organized, rigorous, have a constructive mindset, and are motivated by change and preventive approaches.</li> <li>The position is based in France (Maizières-lès-Metz or Montataire as a priority).
