Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Position Summary
The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary research team involving chemists, computational biologists, and imaging scientists working on NIH-funded research projects. The focus of the research is multi-modality molecular imaging of cancer metabolism, interplay with inflammation, and development of therapeutic strategies in the context of co-clinical trials (linked preclinical and clinical trials).
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a strong background in at least one of the following expertise: imaging sciences, biology including experience in animal studies, molecular/biology techniques, gene expression, pathology, cell culturing, etc. A track record in publications in cancer biology is highly desirable. Experience in molecular imaging, computational biology, metabolomics, stable isotope studies, single cell studies, or biomarker discovery is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.
