What you will do
Under general direction, the Project Manager-Security manages the overall performance of Johnson Control’s projects. Organizes the program development effort, development of the management plan and monitoring progress against the plan. Identifies actions required to be taken in the event of deviation from the plan. Adheres to Johnson Controls standardized procedures and processes. Represents Johnson Controls and its interests to exceed customer satisfaction. Responsible for the overall safety program compliance.
How you will do it
Project Management for associated Security Project Delivery Teams.
Works with Project Sponsors, Business Development, Project Development and Project Delivery Teams to identify and deliver program objectives.
Overall responsibility for Project Management Plan.
Responsible to be forward thinking, alert, and reactive to business practices rendering poor or damaging results (i.e. inadequate schedules, delinquent/inappropriate buy-out, submittal approval, invoice approval, manpower, etc.)
Manages risks and works with Project Delivery Teams to establish project recovery plans.
Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of assigned projects via operational and financial systems reporting.
Makes presentations to Management on current and forecasted performance.
Evaluates and reviews overall subcontracting strategies.
Maintains relationships with the Principals of the major subcontractors.
Responsibility for the project scope management (planning, definition, verification, change control) process.
Ensures project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements.
Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree (OR Equivalent experience) in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
Certification as a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) is also desired.
Construction Management process competencies.
