About the Role

We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to join our growing team! As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for managing Figure’s compliance monitoring and testing program, assisting with the remediation of any issues identified, and participating in the maintenance and building of the Compliance Management System. To conduct your daily job functions, you will be collaborating with several business units, including Product, Operations, Legal, and Data.

What You’ll Do

• Manage Figure’s compliance monitoring and testing program across all lending, servicing, and payment activities
• Develop and refine monitoring and testing scripts and schedules
• Conduct monthly testing, deliver results to appropriate business partners, and assist with the remediation of issues
• Conduct targeted reviews of specific processes and draft memoranda summarizing results
• Participate in the annual risk assessment process of applicable laws and regulations
• Collaborate with Product and Operations in connection with updates, changes and implementation of Figure’s current and new products and services

What We Look For

• Minimum 5 years of regulatory compliance experience at a bank, mortgage lending company, or financial services company
• Fintech startup experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience with consumer protection laws and regulations such as TRID, TILA/Regulation Z, ECOA/Regulation B, FCRA, FACTA, BSA/AML, UDAAP, and GLBA
• Intermediate level of proficiency using Excel, Google Suite, and Tableau
• Ability to effectively communicate regulatory requirements to other business units
• Ability to complete projects with firm deadlines and organize tasks based on priority
• Ability to handle several projects at once while staying organized, detailed-oriented, and diligent 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
