<p>In this role, you will be an important contributor to leading supplier readiness, performance, and development activities for your category within the Software & Electronics area. You will be involved in all phases of the Volvo supplier business, from strategic work to running production. Together with your colleagues in the Global Category Team, R&D colleagues and suppliers you are responsible to secure supplier readiness from early phase to launch in projects and influence suppliers to continuously improve their Q&D performance in running production. As a person you need to question the status quo or specific paths with stakeholders, and suppliers; and work proactively to build a better understanding and work for common solutions. In this role you will contribute to the company´s growth but also to your own personal and professional development. </p>

<p>Your responsibility:</p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate on Product Strategy within the category team.</li>
<li>Assessment and evaluation of potential suppliers, using Volvo Cars tools and methods.</li>
<li>Validate supplier status, using APQP process in all program phases, leading to completion of quality and capacity requirements.</li>
<li>Part approval process and successful launch using PPAP procedure.</li>
<li>Continuous improvement with suppliers during serial production.</li>
<li>Problem solving during industrialization, running production phase and warranty.</li>
<li>Change management.</li>
<li>Manage issue resolution for critical supplier, during sourcing, industrialization and running production phases.</li>

<p>What you’ll bring</p>

<p>We are looking for a person with experience in quality assurance, who is motivated to ensure quality and results and always looks at the whole picture! <br/>
</p>
<p>Experience in the following areas is desirable: electronics, software, and EDS. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>You have a Business or Technical University degree (or equivalent). You feel confident working with quality assurance tools and processes (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D etc). You also have a high interest in business understanding combined with high integrity and can prioritize your own work and you always deliver on time. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can build good relationships with suppliers. You will work in a global environment so advanced communication skills (written and oral) in English are a requirement and additional languages are advantageous. Traveling to supplier sites is required. </p>
