This is a great opportunity to combine your strong finance background, business acumen and leadership skills – and really make an impact on how we manage performance and drive results locally and globally.</p><p><b>What you’ll be doing</b></p><p></p><p>As our Senior Finance Manager, you'll play a central role in the performance and financial management of our Hungarian production operations, located in Fertőd and Fertőszentmiklós. You’ll also lead a small team of dedicated finance professionals and work closely with site management to support decision-making, investments, and continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p>In this role, you won’t just be part of the local site – you’ll also be connected to our <b>Global Finance and Group Business Services organisation</b>, with more than 250 finance professionals worldwide. Together, we’re on a journey to become a truly insight-driven organisation, using data and analysis to fuel decisions across VELUX.</p><p><b>Your main responsibilities will include:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Business Partnering &amp; Insights</b></p><ul><li>Partner with business leaders to analyse performance and support decision-making</li><li>Lead financial aspects of business cases and investment planning</li><li>Provide forward-looking insights and scenario planning</li><li>Identify opportunities and risks to improve performance</li><li>Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Planning, Budgeting &amp; Forecasting</b></p><ul><li>Oversee product costing processes</li><li>Contribute to strategic target setting</li><li>Drive local budgeting and forecasting activities</li><li>Review financial outlooks with key business units</li></ul><p><b>Leadership &amp; Development</b></p><ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop a small team of business controllers</li><li>Continuously improve financial processes, reporting, and systems</li><li>Build strong relationships with both local and global stakeholders</li></ul><p><b>What we’re looking for</b></p><p>You’re someone who enjoys translating financial data into actionable insights and can communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
