Position Overview

The Vice President of Strategic Accounts (VPSA) is a critical leadership role designed to drive Shaw Flooring Network (SFN) momentum and execute high-priority corporate strategies across all buying groups (BGs) and SFN. This role blends business consulting for select customers and sales teams with training and development leadership. This leader will be instrumental in executing SFN and buying group priorities, ensuring sales growth, and fostering strong relationships in the field. The position will reside in the market and covers our Northeastern states: NC, VA, WV, PA, NY, ME, CT MA, NH, RI, VT, NJ, and DE. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Execute strategies and high-priority business objectives for all buying groups and SFN. 

  • Create tailored sales growth plans with GMs/DVPs to achieve market goals. 

  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) in-market for BGs and SFN. 

  • Promote and drive all sales initiatives independently and in collaboration with TMs/RVPs. 

  • Create plan with GM/DVP to reach sales growth goals within your geography. 

  • Drive Velocity signups and SFN, NFA, and CCA sales to select high-value prospects. 

  • Drive activation of exclusive, private label, and running line products. 

  • Support the growth of Wells Fargo consumer financing with select accounts. 

  • Drive the top 5 national and local monthly priorities within your market. 

  • Build trusting relationships with the sales team, acting as an extension of the team to ensure goals are met or exceeded. 

  • Deliver training for RVPs on key programs, solutions, and SFN exclusives. 

  • Inform sales teams about all SFN and BG programs, tools, and opportunities. 

  • Manage corporate incentives and align with local promotional funding. 

  • Lead efforts to drive participation in rewards programs and all BG programs to build a strong foundation in the geography. 

  • Track and report on KPIs and program performance. 

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of field execution and provide actionable feedback. 

  • Constantly gather and relay feedback from members on products and programs. 

  • Listen to customer needs, identifying opportunities and pain points for continuous improvement. 

  • Gather intelligence on competitive programs to inform strategic decisions. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 

  • Five or more years of sales or marketing experience  

  • Ability to travel (50% travel required) 

  • Must live within market
