Job Purpose
With result from growing our engineering department for the new office located in Montevarchi (Arezzo) we are looking for Senior Digital Hardware Engineer.
As a Senior Digital Hardware Design Engineer, your primary responsibility is to lead the end-to-end process of designing, assembling, documenting, testing, and troubleshooting electronic circuits and systems, spanning from prototype development to production assemblies. Your expertise in component-level circuit design, CAD schematic capture, and thorough knowledge of electrical measurement techniques will be pivotal in ensuring the success of our projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, assembly, documentation, testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and systems from prototype to production assemblies
- Component level circuit design and troubleshooting
- CAD schematic capture
- Laboratory electrical measurement techniques
- Circuit simulation with SPICE or equivalent
- Troubleshooting down to the component level
- Cabling and harness documentation and fabrication
Qualifications
- BSc/MD in Electronic Engineering or relevant field
- +5 years’ experience with hardware design for embedded systems for industrial application, EV Chargin background is plus
- Excellent knowledge in reading and drawing schematics using Althium/OrCAD;
- Excellent knowledge of main communication bus protocol (Ethernet PHY, USB, SPI, UART, I2C, ecc...);
- Good knowledge of microcontroller/microprocessor architecture; C code writing is a plus
- Knowledge of main EMC issues in the process of product validation;
- Good knowledge of laboratory instrumentations like oscilloscopes, logic analyzer and programmers;
- Board bring-up and basic software/firmware for component validation is a plus
- Competence in writing documentation, technical specifications, algorithms and procedures regarding product development and validation;
- Competence in define coherent timings and in activity organization
