Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Full-time, two-year robust development program where members work alongside GE Vernova experts in various locations. Domestic and international travel may be required.

  • Four, six-month challenging rotational assignments covering diverse projects in Product & Program Management, Cyber Security, Cloud & Network Technology, Enabling Functions, Data & Analytics, Data Science, AI, Engineering, and more.

  • Global classroom experience and virtual coursework focused on contemporary technical training, leadership skills and business acumen.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Data & Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or other relevant STEM majors with IT experience.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be geographically mobile as requested by the business. Relocation packages included.

  • Major locations include Atlanta, GA; Greenville, SC; Schenectady, NY, Cambridge, MA in the United States. Budapest in Hungary & Bangalore in India.

  • Must be flexible in and able to navigate an ever-changing work environment.

  • Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.

What will make you stand out (Desired Qualifications):

  • Graduating by May/June 2027

  • Minimum cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or equivalent

  • Strong analytical skills

  • A strong commitment to a career in technology with a passion and aptitude to lead, influence and innovate in an Industrial IT environment

  • Up to date with current industry standards, trending software, and information technology development tools

  • Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in IT, software, or relevant area

  • Solves technical challenges through regular application of common design patterns and identify appropriate patterns for use in problem solving

  • Ability to understand coding standards that meet and deliver desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

  • Strong customer focus, ability to understand the value proposition for the customer and commitment to deliver the best value proposition

  • Able to engage positively across multiple departments to establish clarity, vision, and mutual trust to achieve business goals

  • Demonstrated program / project management skills working on and leading teams.

  • Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms

  • Contributes to creative solutions and challenges the status quo

  • Proactively learns new tools and identifies opportunities for improvement and promotes their adoption

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is 88,000 for Bachelors degree and $92,000 for Masters. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.  

Bonus eligibility: Discretionary annual bonus.
