Client Services provides industry-leading operational support to Visa’s clients around the world. With our deep knowledge and expertise, we are a key internal partner to product and technology, bringing the voice of the customer into the design, development and successful deployment of Visa products and services. We are trusted partners to Visa’s clients, providing expertise to support and successfully grow their business.

Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to issuers and their clients around the globe.  Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments.  We work closely with Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services.  We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world.  Our focus is to identify needs, assess opportunities and options and quickly act upon our vision while ensuring strong execution.

The Senior Consultant, Global Implementations is an individual contributor, responsible for overseeing and planning the delivery of operational support of complex programs, multi-layer initiatives or implementations with partners, using program and project management best practices and skills, to ensure customer expectations are exceeded. This includes oversight of execution and timely deliverables across multiple workstreams.

The individual will be a subject matter expert on Visa Commercial Solutions products, and will function as consultant and program manager for complex implementations for large strategic clients. The applicant should have deep subject matter expertise in multiple areas such as commercial card payments, products and services, project management, gained through years of experience supporting clients and new product implementations within a payment processing environment.

The individual will coordinate with multiple internal teams to develop and manage project materials, lead issuer project meetings and presentations, and provide regular updates to issuer/fintech and internal leadership teams on project status. A significant portion of this role will involve developing clear and professional external documentation and internal workflow processes.

The position requires a high level of interaction and collaboration with business and technical leaders across the company, serving as a subject matter expert to clients and internal teams.

Essential Functions

• Lead complex and multi-layered implementations with partners, both internal and external, using project management best practices and skills, to ensure customer expectations are exceeded. This includes oversight of execution and timely deliverables across multiple workstreams, end to end implementation support starting from onboarding through the commercial launch, supporting multiple Visa products and services and including post-launch performance optimization support.
• Curious and proactive in understanding the clients’ business.
• Provide overarching project management covering cross-functional workstreams and various projects required to achieve the business objectives
• Create and maintain project plans and comprehensive project documentation
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals, define and track deliverables
• Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
• Lead meetings and set expectations for project team
• Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
• Build strategic relationships and consult with client institutions and provide technical expertise to structure an effective implementation.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert on various strategic product features as assigned.
