We are seeking a Director of Fiscal Transparency to join our Office of Finance and Information Technology at the Oregon Department of Education. This is a permanent Management Service position.
This position is a hybrid role that allows for remote work when business needs permit. Travel and on-site presence at the central office or alternate locations are required for meetings, collaboration, and other operational activities.

What you will do!
The Director of Fiscal Transparency will play a pivotal role in leading and implementing strategies to enhance fiscal transparency within the organization and to external partners as well as the general public.
As ODE’s Director of Fiscal Transparency, you will:
Oversee the development and implementation of initiatives
Provide the legislature, school districts, and the general public with comprehensive access to financial data and insights from Oregon school districts and ESD
Lead a team responsible for:
Overseeing data collection related to Average Daily Membership Weighted (ADMw)
Interfacing with School District and Education Service Districts’ Superintendents and budget managers
Reviewing audited financials from School District Education Service Districts
Collaborate closely with interagency offices on efforts such
