Commercial Lead - Marketplace Financing Product

This is a fully remote role based in the US East coast only (CST or EST)

Role Overview 🚀

We are looking for a self-motivated Commercial Lead to report directly to the Head of Commercial and help with growing Uncapped’s presence in the Amazon ecosystem.

The Commercial Lead will have P&L responsibility for our newly-launched Amazon product. You will be an expert on the Amazon ecosystem, helping shape the products that meet the needs of our key audience through driving customer and market research, and working closely with our product and sales teams. You will operate at both a strategic and a tactical level, with the ability to zoom in and out as needed to ensure the growth of our product.

Uncapped provides business advances of between £10K and £10M without credit checks, personal guarantees, warrants, equity, or compounding interest -- and makes money by charging a low flat fee that is paid back from future sales revenue.

What you will do ✍️

• We have a new and exciting marketplace financing product that aims to support the growth of 3rd party sellers on popular marketplaces, beginning with Amazon. You will have full P&L responsibility for this product, including managing revenue generation, controlling operating costs and deciding growth strategy for the product.
• You will work closely with our product and commercial teams in order to ensure we are creating products that delight our customers.
• You will conduct thorough research in order to fully understand the Amazon 3rd party seller ecosystem, advising on pain points, competitive movements, 3rd party tool integrations and Amazon marketplace rule changes.
• You will be responsible for our Go To Market strategy, working with inbound, outbound, partnership and country teams to increase leads and conversions for this product as well as identifying obstacles to growth and use internal resources and external networks to remove them .
• You will engage with potential partners, Amazon and other marketplaces to build relationships in support of executing on your strategy

Requirements

Who you are 👀

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience within the Amazon ecosystem, ideally with expertise on 3rd party selling
• You have a passion for producing products that delight our customers and a growth mindset
• You have a hands-on attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment, not shying away from juggling multiple projects at once
• You are a result-oriented person that loves to sell and doesn’t take “no” for an answer
• You have strong organisational skills with effective prioritisation and ability to work independently
• You are modest and excellent at building collaborative relationships at all levels within an organisation
• You have strong analytical skills and are confident with making decisions based on data
• You have a high energy personality, and love to build things from scratch
