Job Description
As a Salesforce Software Engineer IV - Data Cloud, you will serve as the lead in the design, build, and maintenance of technical processes and data flows within and across Platforms and products. You would be the lead for data engineering initiatives and process within the Digital Engineering platform. Work directly with the Enterprise Architects to ensure architecture standards, technical processes, and business processes are in alignment and delivering best practice solutions.
We are seeking candidates with experience developing on the Salesforce.com Data Cloud platform & API's, familiarity with building a Customer Data Platform (CDP), Master Data Management (MDM), data engineering principles, and data modeling. Experience with other data platforms such as Unica and Redshift are a plus. Knowledge and/or experience with Agent Force, Salesforce Lightning platform (LWC/Aura components), understanding of Copado Robotic Testing and Copado CI/CD solution, familiarity with integrating Salesforce.com.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain technical processes, applying the principles of software engineering that spans multiple technologies, programming languages, and database structures.
- Communicate effectively with business and tech leads, software engineering managers, and enterprise architects to ensure alignment across technical and business processes.
- Organize, plan, lead, and execute large-scale technical projects, upgrades, or implementations.
- Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations.
- Work with business analysts and customers to resolve problems and help plan for future needs.
- Create and modify complex applications programs, test, debug, document, and maintain those programs.
- Act as a lead to junior Software Engineers, including assisting, training, and mentoring them on application modification and enhancements.
- Serve as a technical authority for other Software Engineers, including performing peer reviews and pair programming.
Job Requirements:
- Certified Salesforce Developer (required); preferred certifications in Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math or related field and 8+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform & APIs, including Apex, Visualforce, LWC/Aura components.
- Proficiency in VS Code, Salesforce CLI, and Git-based repository management.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and related tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Force.com IDE, Developer Console).
- Familiarity with integrating Salesforce.com with other platforms and understanding of web standards & technologies (HTTP, REST, JSON).
- Knowledge of Copado Robotic Testing and Copado CI/CD solution is a plus.
