Job Description
Summary of Position
The HR Assistant is responsible for assisting in recruitment, employment transactions and human resources processes for Silfab Solar according to federal employment and benefits laws and established policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate the recruiting process including creating and posting job descriptions, screening candidates, and conducting and coordinating interviews with management.
- Field and/or respond to internal and external inquires on HR-related matters.
- Assist with maintaining department records, reports, and updating of the HRIS system.
- Perform reception duties as needed by greeting visitors and fielding phone calls.
- Provide general administrative assistance to management team.
- Assume other duties as designated by the HR Manager.
Qualifications
Skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excel reporting
- PowerPoint presentations
- Demonstrated project coordination.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, including the ability to influence and communicate policies and ideas to a varied group and individuals both verbally and in writing.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma
- At least 1 year experience in Human Resources
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulations governing human resources functions and federal state legislation.
