About the role
Project Details: Location: Remote working in the following US States: CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MN, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OK, OR, PA, TN, TX, WA, WIWork Schedule: Full time, 8 AM to 5 PM local time (Monday to Friday) Compensation: $48 USD per hourExperience: 3+ years’ experience requiredEducation: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) requiredContract duration: until June 30, 2025 (with possibility of extension)

Responsibilities: - Lead a team of Data Annotators, ensuring adherence to quality standards and guidelines.- Lead talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the recruitment and alignment of top-tier talent perfectly matched to the specific needs and requirements of each role within the data annotation program.- Coordinate with stakeholders on task assignments and resource allocations, recommending suitable resources for specific tasks.- Track team utilization and optimize resource deployment.- Provide training and support to team members.- Foster a collaborative team environment and manage team dynamics effectively.- Implement feedback mechanisms to facilitate continuous improvement.- Resolve conflicts within the team and ensure alignment with project goals.- Track production and performance. Additional language knowledge is a plus.- Strong organizational and leadership skills.- Located in any of the following States: CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MN, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OK, OR, PA, TN, TX, WA, WI.- Ability to work full time, from 8 AM to 5 PM local time (Monday to Friday), no exceptions.- Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas.- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.- Experience with large-scale collection of human judgments.- Experience with evaluation of machine learning models.
Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with the Appen Annotation Platform (ADAP) and machine learning principles.- Experience in a professional work environment.- Previous experience in data annotation or content review is a plus.
