Senior Product Manager

<p>Morningstar Sustainalytics is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-centric Product Manager who owns the product strategy and roadmaps for our core data collection platform. You will work closely with senior product and technology folks to shape the future of our product and maximize the efficiency, usability, and profitability of the platform.<br/>As a Product Manager you will engage with internal customers, define and design product features, and work closely with the technology team to deliver these features. This role requires coordination across many internal global teams and will be visible at the highest levels of the company.<br/>You are the perfect fit for this role if you are enthusiastic about the data and analytics space and are a technologist at heart. We are looking for someone who is ready to work in a fast-paced environment and join a motivated team working on exciting and exciting strategic initiatives.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Own the end-to-end management of data collection platform, from ideation to deployment, focusing on delivering exceptional value to internal clients</li><li>Understand data collection processes and analyst challenges and propose the best solutions to deliver exceptional value to users</li><li>Develop and advocate business cases for platform improvements and innovations</li><li>Foster strong collaborations with data collection, research, design, engineering, and data science teams to leverage insights and deliver solutions</li><li>Articulate complex requirements into actionable plans with data and engineering teams</li><li>Define KPIs for the platform to measure and track the success of initiatives</li><li>Work closely with engineering leadership to understand the technical tradeoffs and how they will impact the user experience you are looking to deliver</li><li>Engage directly with end-users to gather feedback and drive product evolution</li><li>Communicate insights, concerns, and roadblocks to stakeholders, helping explain context and prioritization decisions</li><li>Facilitate internal product awareness events</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>5+ years in product management for enterprise solutions</li><li>Action-oriented individual possessing an entrepreneurial mindset</li><li>Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, exhibit a passion for innovation, and harbor a genuine belief in and acceptance of Morningstar`s core values</li><li>Outstanding meeting and work session facilitation skills</li><li>Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills</li><li>Experience and familiarity with UX concepts</li><li>Experience in product data analysis and converting that data to business strategy</li><li>Strong verbal and written English communication skills with experience engaging and influencing various levels of leadership</li><li>Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously</li><li>Enjoys working in an innovative, dynamic and creative environment</li><li>Team player and professional attitude: Persistence, resilience and being helpful to others</li><li>Candidate must have an excellent and proven track record of having established successful business relationships with stakeholders</li><li>Willingness to speak up on difficult issues with own opinions, at the same time be humble and be able to ask for help</li><li>Demonstrate an ability to deliver forward looking product proposals and recommendations to stakeholders based on strong business requirements and product capabilities and new solutions</li></ul><p> </p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>315_Sustainalytics SRL Legal Entity<p></p><p></p><p>Morningstar’s hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to work remotely and collaborate in-person each week.
