Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula (BGCP) proudly stands as the largest expanded learning provider in San Mateo County, dedicated to empowering 5,400 TK-College students across 29 sites from East Palo Alto to Daly City. POSITION OVERVIEW
BGCP is actively searching for dynamic and enthusiastic Summer Youth Program Leaders. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating enriching in-person academic projects, Camp Galileo activities, and outdoor play sessions during the afternoons for elementary or middle school youth at one of our locations in Daly City or South San Francisco. This position offers a distinct chance to cultivate transformative connections with program participants, acquire essential professional development and leadership skills, and contribute meaningfully to the community. Employment Status: Part-Time, Seasonal/Temporary
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depending On Experience)
Location: Daly City and South San Francisco
Woodrow Wilson Elementary School
- Onboarding Dates (must attend one):
- Dates: May 21 or May 22 (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
- Location: 401 Pierce Rd Menlo Park, CA 94025
- Dates: May 23 or May 29 (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
- Location: 201 W Orange Ave South San Francisco, CA 94080
- CPR Training: Friday, May 30 (9:00 am - 2:30 pm)
- Galileo Training Date: Saturday, May 31st (8:30 am - 4:00 pm)
- Location: San Mateo Park Elementary School (161 Clark Dr San Mateo, CA 94402)
- BGCP Training Dates: June 9th – June 13th
- Program Dates: June 16th – July 18th (excluding June 19 and July 4, observed holidays)
- Work Shift: 12:15 PM - 5:30 PM
Daniel Webster Elementary School

What will you do?
- Innovate, execute, and guide captivating and interactive enrichment projects and activities for classes of approximately 20 students.
- Deliver an enjoyable and hands-on outdoor play curriculum.
- Dedicate daily preparation time to organ
