Its unique culture gives true meaning to a “beyond banking” personality: to be a real entrepreneur, self-challenging, ever striving to excel and go that extra mile.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p> </p><p><strong>We are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator (local contract)</strong> with a DevOps mindset obsessed about automation, scalability, performance and infrastructure reliability to join our Database team. As part of this team, you will be responsible to guarantee database stability, performance and security.<br/>  </p><p><strong>Main Tasks &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Support all areas of the enterprise Microsoft SQL database environment, ensuring all databases run at optimal performance;</li><li>Work closely with the development team to plan new applications and maintain current ones;</li><li>Perform research into database performance issues and come up with solutions to address those concerns;</li><li>Owning, tracking and resolving database-related incidents and service requests within SLAs;</li><li>Perform auditing, monitoring, capacity management and security patching of our database;</li><li>Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of databases and platforms.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Qualifications</p><p><strong>Main Technical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>You have more than 2 years of experience in database development and production support in SQL Server;</li><li>You have a solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server;</li><li>Good experience with SQL Server Always On, Windows Server Failover Clustering and Transactional Replication;</li><li>You have troubleshooting experience in SQL Server including performance (query tuning and index optimization), blocking and deadlocking issues, High Availability and Disaster recovery issues, log analysis;</li><li>Experienced with the following technologies will be considered a plus: Oracle, Mysql, MongoB, Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure), Linux.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Other Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Fluent in Portuguese (mandatory);</li><li>Good level of English - minimum <strong>B2</strong> (mandatory);</li><li>Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.</li></ul>
