Assistant Facilities Manager

What is the day to day?

• Ensure client satisfaction with clients at all levels in the organization; demonstrate leadership, responsiveness, and creativity.
• Role management assistance, decision-making, root cause analysis, inspections and audit readiness, communication, management of planning/scheduling and assignment, drive overall improvement of productivity.
• Service is provided by managing all aspects of engineering including but not limited to water systems, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing, instrumentation, fire protection, air, asset care, gases, architectural, shell maintenance, electric, elevators, janitorial, waste management & recycling, doors, pest control, furniture management, signage, landscaping, and process mechanics
• Meet with all standard operating procedures, codes and regulations.
• Ensure areas and processes are in optimum conditions for audit readiness and compliance.
• Must be available 24/7 to assist in building emergencies or to respond to work being performed by engineers and contractors after hours.
• Support work order management for staff and vendors as necessary
• Perform additional job duties as requested by the Engineering Director

Relationship Management

• Maintain client satisfaction with delivery of Facility Management services and support programs to increase customer satisfaction
• Work together, led by example, be a team player and collaborate with other facilities managers, chief engineers and co-workers.

Compliance

• Support compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle minimum audit and compliance standards in facility management, financial management and operational policies and procedures
• Meet or exceed site Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s); monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) monthly to identify potential challenges and plan corrective actions accordingly
• Enforce all Company policies and training requirements regarding safe and efficient operations and work practices

Desired experience and technical skills -

Required:

• 3+ years’ related work experience in Facilities (commercial or industrial preferred)
• 2+ years' in a supervisor role
• Experience in working in a regulated environment (GMP/GXP preferred)
• Experience in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Corrigo Preferred)
• Excellent inter-personal skills, organization skills, and strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written
• Excellent PC skills: proficiency in all Microsoft Team applications and Excel

Preferred:

• Experience in Building Maintenance
• Experience in People Management

Estimated total compensation for this position:

74,900.00 – 108,600.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
