Social Media Assistant Temp

Position Summary:  The Marketing Social Media Assistant collaborates with Marketing team to brainstrom and create content ideas for social media, films and edits high-quality, engaging videos as well as assists in the planning and scheduling of content.  

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and create content ideas for social media, including short videos to be used on Instagram or YouTube.
• Film and edit high-quality, engaging videos that highlight UBT’s services, products, financial literacy, community involvement, and brand values. On camera talking or narration in videos as necessary.
• Assist in planning and scheduling content to ensure a consistent posting schedule.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools to ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.
• Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training: follow internal processes and controls as required.
• Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Perform other job related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of video filming and editing techniques.
• Familiarity with Instagram and Youtube and their features, particularly Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Skilled with video editing software such as CapCut and Adobe Premier.

Working Environment:

Sedentary work – occasionally lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.

Indoor work – not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards. 

Some travel required, especially within the Lincoln area.
