ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Technician to complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.   Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, doors: interior and exterior, painting, is required. 1st shift position. No weekend work.

Position Summary Details

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, instrumentation, and other equipment, systems or structures 
• Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities 
• Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary  

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
• A valid State Drivers License is required.
• Basic knowledge of proper use of power tools, hand tools.
• Recognize various hardware parts and methods of repair for related tasks.
• Must posses organizational skills.
• Must be able to perform unsupervised.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Customer Service Experience 
• 1 yr of similar work experience
