About the role
- Communicate with the public (students and parents) as well as co-workers must be in a prompt, friendly, and professional in order to provide excellent customer service. Detailed notes in student records in our database help ensure things run smoothly for our system integration and student experience.
- Receive ISIR’s showing information about student applying for financial aid. Establish financial need for each student.
- Establish education budget for traditional undergraduate bachelor programs.
- Package students with financial aid according to federal and institutional awarding guidelines including all forms of financial aid.
- Counsels entering/new and continuing/transfer students regarding loans and requirements for smooth and efficient enrollment.
- Communicate effectively with students and families regarding charges and financial aid and choices for covering their final balance due.
- Review of accounts and follow up with students and parents to reduce account delinquencies and receivable balances.
- Review all billing, financial aid and other fee posting activity for assigned student accounts.
- Request timely credit balance refund checks for those students who qualify.
- Provide management reports regarding student receivable balances and aging.
- Maintain full understanding of financial aid and tuition and fee charge impact on student account balances.
- Responds to questions and concerns from students and families.
- Work closely with other departments such as Admissions. Academic Affairs, and Enrollment Operations regarding student issues as well as charges since payment issues can impact student experience.
