Job Description
The IoT Project Manager will manage connectivity projects related to our Air Conditioning Systems and work closely with software engineers, electrical engineers, and product managers. This role entails following the TTM “Time-to-Market” process to release connectivity products successfully into the US market. Additional responsibilities include leading technical decisions, managing SW sprints, manage/track technical requirements and verification, and support the SW release process throughout the product’s lifecycle.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage Connectivity Projects according to the TTM “Time-to-Market” Project Management Process
- Autonomously be able to understand project requirements and deliverables
- Coordinate with different divisions to meet project deliverables during product development
- Facilitate the team in tracking engineering requirements, and verification/testing process
- Lead and align technical decisions within project team
- Manage and mitigate risks and drive testing and validation up to release
- Cooperate with supplier to meet requirements specified by engineering
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 2+ years of experience launching IoT/connected products to market (i.e. milestone deliverables, product launch, etc.)
- 1+ years of experience in Project Management (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proactive worker
- Software related projects experience
- Full-cycle project ownership experience
- HVAC industry experience
