Finance Project Manager

What you do
In a context of deep Finance and Accounting transformation, the Finance Project Manager -within Allianz Partner (AZP) Global Office Finance Project team- drives finance projects worldwide and contribute to a lean finance organization and process harmonization/optimization.
The Finance Project Manager will handle a wide variety of projects in autonomy, overseeing budget and timeline as well ensuring development is up to standard. He/She has a strong Accounting background and works hands in hands with Finance colleagues worldwide as well as Operations and IT teams, to make sure business requirements are understood and implemented. The role location is flexible, preferably Europe. 

 

• Support on AZP and Allianz Group Finance initiatives which imply roll out of new tools and systems for the Accounting & Reporting function
• Participate to overall Accounting & Reporting processes improvement
• Align and collaborate with the various stakeholders to ensure calibration on key decisions and timely delivery of Finance related requirements
• Ensure clear and transparent communication about project related activities and development to all relevant stakeholders

What you bring

• Very good understanding of Accounting & Reporting processes, with practical experience in Insurance & Assistance services industry 
• Ability to understand business processes from a macro perspective
• Ability to interact with senior level management
• Confident and engaging communicator                          
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package 
• Experience and knowledge of SAP FI 
• Good level of English - both spoken and written
• Experience in Project Management (nice to have)
