<h4> <strong>Senior Data Engineer</strong></h4> <p><strong>We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong GCP expertise to join our partner team.</strong></p> <p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p> <ul><li> <p>Architect, implement and support data solutions that meet high</p>standards of reliability, scalability and performance.</li><li><p></p>Build and maintain ETL pipelines to collect, transform and load data from diverse sources into warehouses or other storage systems.</li><li>Optimize data processing, storage, and querying using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow and Cloud Functions.</li><li>Oversee data workflows, monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis when problems arise.</li><li>Partner with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that empower their work.</li><li>Maintain strong data governance by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security across all data environments.</li><li>Assess emerging tools and technologies to enhance our data engineering stack and overall efficiency.</li><li>Produce clear documentation covering engineering workflows, standards, and best practices.</li></ul> <p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p> <ul><li> <p>A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a</p>similar discipline.</li><li>5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a comparable position.</li><li>Solid understanding of core data engineering principles, methodologies, and industry best practices.</li><li>Hands-on experience with GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud</li><li>Storage, Dataflow, Dataplex, Pub/Sub, and Composer.</li><li>Strong background in data modeling, schema design, and database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).</li><li>Experience with ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache Beam, Airflow, Kafka or Spark.</li><li> <p>Proficiency with serverless functions using Python or Node.js.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with data quality frameworks and practices.</p></li></ul> <p> <strong>Nice to Have Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Master's degree in a relevant technical field.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience handling large-scale datasets.</p> </li> <li> <p>Background in automation/orchestration for data quality.</p> </li> <li> <p>Deep understanding of data modeling approaches.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Git.</p> </li> <li> <p>Relevant certifications, such as:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer</p> </li> <li> <p>Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer.</p></li></ul></li></ul>
