Job Summary

The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role within Yoh by driving the expansion of our client portfolio, specifically within the IT & Engineering practice. This role demands a strategic and proactive approach to identifying and cultivating new business opportunities in the staffing industry, with a focus on developing lasting relationships with key decision-makers across various organizations. Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and secure new client accounts by understanding local market trends, client industry challenges, and staffing requirements, employing targeted and consultative selling techniques to build trust and credibility.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing clients to uncover additional staffing needs and expand service offerings, facilitating ongoing account growth and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with recruitment teams, providing guidance and strategic direction on sourcing approaches, client requisition management, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with client expectations and timely fulfillment of staffing needs.
  • Utilize CRM systems diligently to document all sales activities, prospect interactions, and client communications, ensuring accurate forecasting and comprehensive account management.
  • Drive achievement and surpass established sales performance targets, while consistently delivering excellent customer service and acting as a strategic partner to clients.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies by staying abreast of industry trends, competitor tactics, and regulatory changes impacting the staffing market.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the regional business environment, including key industry sectors, economic factors, and workforce trends influencing staffing needs.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Proven sales acumen, featuring tactical expertise in cold-calling, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals within a competitive market.
  • Strong relationship-building aptitude with a focus on long-term client partnership development and trust cultivation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint, facilitating efficient documentation, collaboration, and data management.
  • Capacity to analyze complex business requirements and tailor staffing solutions accordingly.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly recruitment, to drive client satisfaction and staffing success.
