About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a driven, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Lead who’s passionate about automation, cybersecurity, and pushing the limits of what technology can do. As part of our high-performing development team, you’ll design and implement automated test strategies that ensure the resilience and performance of mission-critical applications used by the Intelligence Community.

In this fast-paced, mission-driven environment, you won’t just “test software”, you’ll help validate cyber capabilities that protect lives and secure our nation’s most sensitive information.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Develop test plans and procedures to ensure software meets agreed upon expectations 

  • Ensure test plans and procedures provide adequate test coverage for functional tests

  • Test execution and report the progress to the team and product owners 

  • Coordinate with engineers to identify and report issues 

  • Defect testing and management

  • Responsible for deploying builds for testing

  • Responsible for testing in multiple environments

  • Manage associated test artifacts and support government test events

  • Must be able to work in a cross functional team

  • Support client testing events such as Development Test (DT) and Operational Testing (OT)

  • Provide testing updates to the team and upper management

  • Prepare reports for internal and external use

  • Participate in SAFe planning and execution

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of experience in software engineering and/or product testing. Additional experience, applicable training and/or certifications may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Understanding of the different types and categories of software testing

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel

  • Ability to apply a variety of tools and techniques to verify complex business processes via manual, automated, and semi-automated test cases

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic that works well with others and who can thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Well versed with Linux, VMWare, and Microsoft Windows

  • Experience with JIRA

  • Experience with Confluence 

  • Must have an active Top Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with SQL commands and queries

  • Experience working with testing web apps

  • Experience and familiarization with the space situational awareness domain

  • Experience automating regression tests and working within software testing frameworks

  • Experience with test automation using Selenium is a plus

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.​
