International Import Logistics Manager

The Import Logistics Manager oversees the planning, execution, and movement of imported freight into the United States. This role manages logistics service providers, resolves day‑to‑day operational issues, and ensures cost‑effective, timely delivery in support of Ace Hardware’s global supply chain.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day‑to‑day import logistics operations and issue resolution
• Serve as primary contact for logistics service providers
• Oversee service provider performance, onboarding, and reviews
• Maintain freight rate standards in SAP for inventory valuation
• Manage online bookings and ensure required documentation is received
• Support import vendor and service provider payments
• Oversee import drop ship programs from booking through billing
• Lead and coach the Import Logistics Coordinator

Required Skills

• Import logistics or global supply chain experience
• Knowledge of international trade terms and freight concepts
• Experience managing logistics service providers
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and SAP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with export logistics
• Prior people leadership experience
