Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.</p><p></p><p>The Precision Fires and Maneuver (PF&M) product area has an immediate Program Cost Controls Analyst opportunity to join the Javelin finance team supporting the production contracts. In this role the candidate will have the opportunity to work in a unique environment as part of the Javelin Joint Venture (JJV); specifically supporting the recurring production contract(s) which produce the GEU and next generation launch unit (LWCLU). Job responsibilities will include supporting the Program Management Office (PMO) in managing cost and schedule integration, manpower forecasts, quarterly Estimates at Completion (EAC), as well as working with the business manager to analyze staffing, and cost variances on a weekly/monthly basis. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently and have the ability to multi-task and work on several different program issues concurrently, in a challenging and deadline driven environment, as part of a small core finance team.</p><p></p><p>The JJV is in a significant growth phase, currently increasing capacity to meet domestic and international demand.</p><p></p><p>In this role you can expect to have frequent interaction and collaboration with various functions (finance, engineering, operations, contracts, and program office) and multiple levels of leadership which will require you to possess strong presentation and communication skills and have a strong understanding of financial performance management and processes.</p><p></p><p>Finance serves as a critical business partner by providing the analysis, insight and guidance to enable strategic decision making and achieve bottom-line results. Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed, so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation, communication, and professional skills.</p><p></p><p>What You Will Do:</p><ul><li><p>Partner with the CAM / IPT lead in preparation, analysis, review, and approval quarterly EAC’s</p></li><li><p>Daily management of program cost and schedule</p></li><li><p>Interface with Supply Chain to ensure program financial and contractual commitments are achieved</p></li><li><p>Preparation and presentation of financial status to Program Management team (weekly, monthly, quarterly, & annually)</p></li><li><p>Provide labor and material variance analysis</p></li><li><p>Responsible for ad hoc requests as determined by the needs of the business</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications You Must Have:</p><ul><li><p>Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration or related field of study</p></li><li><p>Typically requires 5 years prior relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience</p></li><li><p>Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain)</p></li><li><p>Experience with EAC structure/preparation</p></li><li><p>U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications We Prefer:</p><ul><li><p>Risk and Opportunity Management</p></li><li><p>Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment</p></li><li><p>Experience with APEX, PRISM, IOTs, Rplan and EDIT+</p></li><li><p>Understanding of AOP and Long-Range Planning, program forecasting and metrics</p></li><li><p>Ability to multitask and work on several different projects at anytime</p></li><li><p>Experience working independently and with higher levels of management</p></li></ul><p></p><p>What We Offer</p><p>Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
