Join a new and exciting opportunity to protect national security and provide premier mission focused IT services for a dynamic and growing program.  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud System Architect, Senior, to join our team in Laurel, MD. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture and design, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. The Cloud Systems Architect, Senior, will work closely with our clients and internal teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure Services hosted in multiple cloud environments.

• Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers.

• Provide connectivity and utilization support to Cloud Infrastructure Services managed cloud environment customers.

• Provide customer support through chat, email and capacity request ticketing.

• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems. 

• Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.

• Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems. 

• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets. 

• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.

• Ability to draw high level conceptual diagrams to build a new IT infrastructure to include things like: hardware, software, compute, networks, etc.

• Manages the project work as defined by the government.                                       

• Leads medium to large complex projects and major phases of a very large group.

• Provides highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems.

Basic Qualifications: 

• At least twelve (12) years of related work experience

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in related technical discipline. Four(4) years of additional CSA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

• Basic IT Infrastructure security knowledge (i.e. firewalls, routers, physical hardware, software, etc.)

• Confluence and JIRA knowledge

• Conceptual cloud infrastructure knowledge

• IAT II certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of start date

​Preferred Qualifications:

• At least fifteen (15) or more years of related work experience

Security Clearance Requirements: 

• Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
