Role and Responsibilities 

• Support the County’s current identity and access management platforms and enhance our current infrastructure. This role requires a strong background in maintaining Linux infrastructure, virtualization, networking, clustering, and containerization.
• Manage and support the existing identity and access management (IAM) platforms. 
• Maintain and upgrade IAM infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining system stability. 
• Upgrade systems and infrastructure components to ensure compatibility and security. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure improvements.

Minimum Qualification

• Proven experience with identity and access management platforms in JAVA (e.g CAS, OpenDJ Velo). 
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems administration. (10+ years)
• Strong understanding of distributed computing and file systems (Apache Spark, HDFS) 
• Expertise in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware). 
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with network configuration and troubleshooting. 
• Experience with clustering technologies (e.g., Apache Mesos, Kubernetes). 
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker). 
• Experience with Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Entra ID Governance. 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
• Experience with system upgrades and patch management. 
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Period of Performance 

• Approximately one year (2,000 hours) with option to extend.
• Open to C2C/1099.
