About the role

GSK is currently looking for a CMMS Operations Lead to join our team in Cambridge, MA. This role will be accountable for the site's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and coordination of planned maintenance / calibration activities within the facility.  The role responsibilities will include successfully developing, planning and scheduling all planned and predictive maintenance activities in the facility, providing timely follow-up on planned maintenance metrics, CMMS data quality improvements (equipment classification / hierarchy, asset information / status, GxP maintenance job plans / completeness), asset enrolment, processing CMMS requests, and ensuring adherence to all GSK global standards pertaining to maintenance and calibration.  This role will be expected to represent the CMMS team with cross-functional stakeholders including Facilities, Manufacturing, LabOps, and Quality.     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and calibration within the CMMS.
  • Responsible for the generating, scheduling and closing all planned work orders.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all work orders feedback data is properly updated in the relevant CMMS software fields.
  • Support Technicians in job planning and daily maintenance / calibration activities
  • Ensure the use of CMMS system to record all maintenance (routine and incidental), review breakdown history, and update the PPM job plans / calibration datasheets as needed.
  • Responsible for the update tasks, task instructions, CMMS Monthly reports and other planning requirements.
  • Operate to new and established SOPs designed to ensure that all related systems and maintenance / calibration documentation are kept up to date in accordance with GSK global standards.
  • Ensure that all authored SOPs pertaining to the CMMS are kept up to date.
  • Work closely with Facilities, Manufacturing, LabOps, and Quality as and when required to ensure planning and scheduling of planned maintenance / calibration activities and completion, review, and approval of planned events.
  • Responsible for generating, maintaining, and presenting monthly metrics to the broader FEV team. 

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • GMP biopharmaceutical industry experince in a role related to plant equipment, utilities, and systems, of which minimum 2+ years’ experience providing support within Facilities department.
  • 2+ years experience in building work plans.
  • 2+ years experience in Vendor management experience.​

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.   
  • Experienced with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with planning / scheduling in a cGMP environment, maintenance / calibration activities, and CMMS for asset management
