About the Role:

The Maintenance/Tool Crib Planner is a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) expert and is responsible for defining and maintaining SAP systems and standards used to support plant maintenance, facilities, and purchasing. This requires a deep understanding of shop floor assets, maintenance and purchasing processes, parts crib standards, and SAP software

 

What You Will Do:

Inventory Management:

• Manage resources and processes associated with critical spare parts procurement between SAP and Auxilium.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Liaison for the Fastenal Vending Equipment program

 

Tool Crib Supervision:

• Supervise Tool Crib Attendants to provide centralized service to maintenance.
• Provide clear goals and objectives for Tool Crib Attendants.
• Manage overtime requests, daily tasks, and functions.
• Manage project initiatives for the Tool Crib.

 

System Integration & Data Analysis:

• Ensure system integration and understanding of assets, maintenance, and purchasing processes related to parts inventory, planned preventative maintenance activities, work orders, and Key Process Indicators (KPIs).
• Generate production metrics and reports that demonstrate control.
• Analyze metrics for trends and anomalies and propose continuous improvement projects with Production leaders

 

Project Management & Collaboration:

• Develop relationships with SAP corporate experts, purchasing, and maintenance.
• Lead high-level project reviews.
• Ensure clear project requirements and establish priorities collaboratively

 

Process Development & Training:

• Define, write, and maintain SAP business standard operating procedures for all SAP PM end-users (production team leads, maintenance technicians, planners, contractors, crib attendants, purchasing, engineering, etc.).

 

General Responsibilities:

• Ensure that project requirements are clear to the cross-functional team and priorities are established in a collaborative manner.

 

What You Need:

• Post-Secondary education in a related field preferred
• 3-5 years related work experience in a world class manufacturing facility
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management Software or related software is required
• Supervisory experience considered an asset
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills; interacts effectively with technical/non-technical people in a professional manner.
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize, with demonstrated experience working with deadlines
