Company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent/Planner (15+ years) to lead maintenance operations at a highly automated greenfield petrochemical / fine chemicals processing facility.

This role will oversee a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring all planned and breakdown maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maximizing equipment uptime and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plant maintenance technicians and contractors

• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities

• Provide field oversight for routine and emergency mechanical work

• Develop and manage CMMS systems to improve tracking and reliability

• Drive maintenance best practices to improve efficiency and reduce downtime

• Coordinate with production and operations to prioritize work

• Manage spare parts inventory and optimize stock levels

• Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) and internal standards

• Train and mentor technicians and apprentices

Required Experience

• 10+ years of maintenance experience in petrochemical or chemical processing plants

• Strong hands-on background as a millwright or mechanical technician

• Direct experience working on turbines, compressors, pumps, and rotating equipment

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical failures

• Experience implementing or managing CMMS systems

• Strong understanding of industrial safety and environmental regulations

• Demonstrated leadership experience supervising maintenance teams
