What You Will Do:
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and smoke testing for clinical and administrative modules.
- Validate EHR configurations, workflows, and data integrity across Cerner modules such as PowerChart, Revenue Cycle, PharmNet, and Department Order Entry and FirstNet.
- Validate and troubleshoot HL7 message formats (e.g., ADT, ORM, ORU) ensuring compliance with HL7 standards and project-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical, technical, and vendor teams to define message specifications, mappings, and transformation rules to enable accurate and timely data exchange.
- Maintain test documentation and artifacts using ALM and SharePoint.
- Assist in training clinicians and staff on Cerner systems and new technology adoption.
- Support Agile/Scrum methodologies, contributing to continuous quality improvement and timely delivery.
- Document interface designs, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures to support project knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance.
- Follow the full testing lifecycle from requirements analysis through test execution and closure.
- Design, execute, and manage test cases in ALM, including defect logging and tracking to ensure data integrity and testing accuracy
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., IT, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics). Additional FOUR (4) years' experience in Liu of Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of QA/testing experience in healthcare or EHR systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and basic database concepts (SQL).
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Hands-on experience with Cerner modules (PowerChart, FirstNet, etc.).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with EHR automation tools. Background in healthcare IT or clinical system implementation.
