This QA Engineer role is a key member of the CRM team who will work closely with Salesforce and all levels of integrations with Salesforce. In this role, you should have experience with UI and REST API testing and good testing and analytical skills. You will be responsible for testing features and delivering testing documentation. 

This role is remote within the US, but we are prioritizing candidates based in Eastern time for team alignment.

Your tasks will include:

• Create and execute complex test scenarios covering multiple system components
• Discover and analyze patterns in defects to identify underlying system issues
• Create test designs that address complex business logic
• Work both independently and in close collaboration with developers, business and systems analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing strategies
• Lead specialized testing strategies for integration and end-to-end testing
• Implement complex test scenarios using automation techniques and tools (Java) 

What we expect from you:

• 4+ years of QA experience with 2+ focused on Salesforce applications
• Ability to determine appropriate test types and prioritize testing efforts based on risk assessment
• Ability to create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans and reports
• Experience with defect triage and management and ability to determine appropriate severity and priority
• Strong SQL/SOQL skills; comfortable querying and validating complex data sets
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication abilities; able to explain defects and test results to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with testing web services (REST API), familiarity with API testing tools (Postman)
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development process
• Strong desire and ability to work in a team
• Open and flexible mindset, strong common sense, and clear logical thinking 
• Background working in regulated environments (such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) 

Will be an advantage:

• Salesforce certifications
• Experience with a programming language (Java) to develop test tools and complex test cases for UI (Selenium) and backend testing
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
