In the department, we work with processes, methods, tools, and information management with an ‘E2E flow fit-for-purpose’ as the guiding principle. In the department, there are five groups. We are looking for a senior manager in ‘Engineering Frameworks’.</span></span></span></p> <h2><b>What you'll do</b></h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span><span>Lead the Team in ‘Engineering Frameworks’: Guide, mentor, and inspire a team of senior employees and have an overall responsibility for the deliveries.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Develop Key Frameworks: Manage the development of the Engineering frameworks:</span></span></span> <ul> <li><span><span><span>ECF: Engineering Collaboration Framework</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>VPDS: Volvo Product Development System</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>PEF: Product Engineer Framework</span></span></span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span><span><span>Facilitate &amp; Drive Initiatives: Lead and manage coordinating cross-functional activities connected to the frameworks, including EF WoW Directives and Newsletters.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Training Responsibility: Manage and develop the training program “The Developer” for Volvo Cars Engineering and support in training activities.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Audit &amp; Assessments: Plan and guide the overall level of audits and assessments for Engineering.</span></span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><b>Who you are</b></h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span><span>A person who loves leading, developing, inspiring, and growing an engineering organization, and has previous experience of doing so; you have been a manager for a couple of years and know what it takes to build phenomenal teams.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>In addition to your managerial experience, you also have gained extensive experience working hands-on in Engineering/R&amp;D.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>You are very knowledgeable and passionate about product development and efficiency.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>You fully embrace a growth mindset and have the ability to encourage others to do the same.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>You lead complex problem-solving initiatives, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to enhance efficiency and performance.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>You provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>You collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes, enhance our capabilities, and meet strategic goals.</span></span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span>Ready to Take the Next Step?</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span>Please submit your application through our career page.
