Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Data Products to join our dynamic Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, product development, and leadership, with a proven track record of driving successful data initiatives. This role requires exceptional strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to lead and inspire a team of talented data professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data product strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and vision.
- Lead the Data Products team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions.
- Collaborate with senior executives to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for data products.
- Product Development:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of data product development, from ideation to implementation and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure data products meet market demands and customer needs.
- Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security throughout all product development processes.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Utilize agile methodologies to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation within data products.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of new tools, methodologies, and practices that enhance the effectiveness of data products.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and confident in data product decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in data management, product development, or a related field, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex data products and initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools, data warehousing, big data technologies, and machine learning is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- A passion for data and innovation, with a commitment to driving excellence in data products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or relevant advanced degree.
- Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail industry.
- A strong network within the data and technology community.

Pay Range:
$224,100 - $257,600Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
