LinkedIn’s Biz Ops Transformation Team is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Operations who is a passionate, strategic, analytical and hands-on leader to drive large-scale transformation initiatives across LinkedIn’s most critical operations within R&D, Finance, Talent, and GBO. In this high impact role, you will find better ways for LinkedIn to run and operate more efficiently through scale, automation, organization design, technology investments, or creating accountable models (e.g. governance models) to deliver against LinkedIn’s priority initiatives.
The role is highly cross-functional, blending strategy & execution, creating clarity and speed to execution of needle-moving corporate priorities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving highly complex ambiguous operational questions within LinkedIn, and has exceptional business acumen and the skills to operate autonomously to identify, prioritize, partner, influence and implement high-impact change.
Responsibilities:
- Lead corporate wide initiatives autonomously by developing the transformation strategy (people, process, technology, or policy) changes, setting ambitious goals and KPI targets to achieve objectives, and supporting execution
- Identify growth and productivity leverage opportunities within the company to create efficiencies and reduce complexity across end to end business process
- Drive data-driven analysis, size opportunities, develop understanding of key drivers to identify areas of improvement and prioritize strategic opportunities.
- Structure the most complex problems into clear bodies of work, chart the path forward, identify resourcing required, determine level-of-effort and enable the teams to deliver against strategic priorities.
- Influence and manage senior leadership, synthesize exec-ready communications, providing thought leadership to shape and align on the vision, and gain alignment prioritization and investments
- Act as the connective tissue across multiple cross-functional teams, bridging different points of views, seeing-around-the-corner for any LinkedIn implications, and holding teams accountable for delivering against key outcomes
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of general work experience, including 3+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, strategy consulting or equivalent roles
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other advanced degrees preferred
- Experience with operational design, process improvements, governance creation and oversight, technology assessments, implementation and execution.
- Ability to structure and analyze problems effectively to develop the team’s thinking, facilitate alignment on key strategic decisions among various stakeholders, and identify 80/20 opportunities to reach insightful, implementable, and impactful answers.
- Able to have a strong, independent voice to push teams’ thinking, influence leaders on direction, while able to build trust-based relationships across the company to drive alignment
- High-energy, team-first, positive attitude, autonomous: Must be motivated to work hard in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills: Need solid written and verbal communications skills and presence to be able to facilitate discussions and communicate insights with senior-level leaders.
