As a Junior Business Analyst, you'll play a dual role, providing both user support and software testing expertise. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals to learn the ropes of both areas, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the IT lifecycle.

This is a HYBRID position located in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Help Desk Support:
    • Provide first-line technical support to our clients, troubleshooting user issues and resolving problems efficiently.
    • Document support interactions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical resources.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest software and hardware functionalities to provide effective user assistance.
  • Software Quality Assurance (QA):
    • Assist senior QA analysts in developing and executing test plans to ensure software functionality meets user requirements.
    • Conduct thorough testing of software applications, identifying bugs and defects.
    • Document test results and collaborate with developers to resolve identified issues.
  • Business Analysis Support:
    • Assist with requirements gathering and analysis tasks for IT projects.
    • Help create user documentation and training materials.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support or customer service environment (or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess a valid Security+ certification.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
  • Experience with testing tools and methodologies.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
