We are seeking Scheduling and Earned Value Manager to be a part of our Program Business Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the development and maintenance of program schedules, timelines, Earned Value Management (EVM), financial budget maintenance, engineering hours collection (Work Breakdown Structure - WBS), and complex reporting. You will support commercial aircraft seating programs of various scales and complexities, improving schedule quality, highlighting program issues/inconsistencies, developing complex reporting, and gathering metrics to produce progress reports across various functional groups within the business. You will also be involved with procedural updates, process adherence monitoring, and training on new processes and procedures.

What You Will Do:

• Program Scheduling and Analysis:

  • Monitor the scheduling and analysis of complex programs using P6 Primavera Software.

  • Develop and train personnel on PMI schedule theory.

  • Maintain, oversee, and develop all Master Schedule Templates and dependencies.

  • Monitor all project and activity coding per defined guidelines.

  • Oversee recurring meetings to ensure program plans, schedules, and budgets are maintained by the program team.

  • Analyze schedule data and offer solutions or alternatives for program success.

  • Review reports and metrics regularly and facilitate discussions with management and users about format, distribution, purpose, and issues to identify areas for continuous improvement.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with various internal departments including business development, program management, engineering, and corporate finance to align with customer program objectives and timelines.

  • Interface with internal customers to drive actions and resolve data issues.

• Reporting and Metrics:

  • Prepare and present progress reports to monitor the performance of programs against baselines, including EVM.

  • Develop complex reporting utilizing P6 and BI Publisher based on business needs.

  • Design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes to forms, reports, and systems.

• Policy and Procedure Management:

  • Establish, maintain, and train personnel on policies and procedures

  • Develop definition documents for new software modules and conduct user testing of new software releases and updates.

• Team Management:

  • Conduct Performance Connect meetings with direct reports to measure growth and performance.

  • Develop, coach, and train direct reports.

  • Monitor and delegate group email inbox queries.

  • Provide periodic audit support.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in Program Management, Scheduling, and/or Earned Value Management functional area.

• Experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) of project scheduling.

• Experience with Primavera Project P6 and/or MS Project.

• Experience with Earned Value Management implementation.

• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle SQL and/or Microsoft SQL.

• Experience with BIP or Enterprise Reporting.
