About the role

The role

 

Cyber security is an agile, fast paced industry. For the last year we have been designing, building, and piloting Phase 1 of our Client Portal. We are now looking to accelerate these foundations by further developing the platform to cater for wider service lines as well as maturing the existing services. Building in automation and delivering value to clients throughout is essential.

 

You will be responsible for the overall delivery of our digital Client Portal platform in addition to building out the existing team and processes.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Leading and evolving the agile development & quality assurance processes.
  • Managing and delivering well designed and tested software.
  • Troubleshooting and mentoring team members when they encounter problems which they cannot resolve themselves.
  • Designing and architecting cloud infrastructure, services and software to enable secure solution delivery.
  • Recruiting, training and building a team suitable for the needs and growth of the business.

 

Skills and experience

 

Essential skills and experience for the successful candidate include:

 

  • Proven software development skills with a pride in delivering high standards.
  • Experience of successfully leading similar projects and management teams of developers, stakeholders and project/product managers throughout the full Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Good organisational, communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong software development process and design skills at both a high and low level.
  • Familiarity with relevant DevOps tools and processes for automating testing and deployment of code.
  • A passion for the role, learning and contributing to complex challenges.

 

The Nettitude Client Portal currently uses the following technology stack:

 

  • ReactJS and/or NodeJS
  • JavaScript
  • Python
  • MongoDB, ElasticSearch (or other NoSQL databases)
  • Kubernetes

 

 A number of other internal projects also exist utilising a variety of other technologies.

 

Location

 

This role can be remote or office-based at the preference of the successful candidate. At a minimum it will be necessary to reside in the UK or Greece, and to make occasional visits to our local offices on an ad hoc basis.
