As a Mixing Technician you will be responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient mixing of batches of chemical materials by adding raw materials into a mixing pot.  This role works from 1:30PM to 10:00PM and requires a moderate amount of overtime throughout the week and sometimes on Saturdays.

Starting Salary $23.50/hr. plus $2.00 shift premium 

Training for the position will take place during 1st shift hours (5:30AM - 2:00PM) for approx. 1 - 3 weeks.

RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION ​ 

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:​ 

• Adhere to quality and safety systems and standards

• Handle hazardous raw materials and products with appropriate care and precaution

• Monitor process conditions and equipment

• Participate in the creation and the maintenance of a clean work area

 JOB QUALIFICATIONS​ 

Requirements:​ 

• High School education or GED equivalent (required) 

• Second Shift 1:30PM to 10:00PM (required)

• Experience operating a fork truck is a plus

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment or clean room is preferred

• Willing and able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required

• Willing and able to work in a restricted, electrically classified area for use of flammable and combustible materials

• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
