What We Are Looking For
This position specifically supports the mission by managing key digital marketing and communication efforts, including the University’s homepage and other high-visibility websites. This position also provides strategic guidance, training, and implementation of mass email tools to communicate with worldwide constituents.
A Bachelors degree, three years of relevant experience, and an active Christian faith are required. A masters degree and five years of relevant experience is preferred.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do:
- Work with the Director of Digital Marketing Operations to produce and manage University-level web and communication platforms, including frequent copy-writing to support University communication goals. Coordinate with campus partners to identify and develop strategic content goals and objectives that facilitate departmental and University objectives and reinforce the Baylor brand.
- Partners with campus mass email users to create, schedule, deliver, and monitor the results of email campaigns to broad and narrow constituent groups. Additionally, writes headlines, ledes and feature articles for a weekly, campus-wide, digest email.
- Utilize graphic software systems to select, crop and edit photos, and to manipulate other graphics in support of assigned web pages.
- Train campus partners in use of the CMS and other tools.
- In coordination with digital marketing development, prepare search-optimized recommendations for site descriptions and keyword utilization to enhance search rankings.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
