The Work:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Python Developer whose passion is building simple software that just works. You will be working with a team of engineers in a AWS microservices environment to solve interesting national security related problems using agile methodologies.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop elegant code that solves interesting problems
• Collaborate with other smart, driven engineers
• Leverage AWS cloud services to provide scalability and reliability
• See your software through to production deployment and use by real customers
• Participates in code reviews to ensure code quality

Here's what you need:

• 4 years of experience in software/system development
• 4 years of experience specially with Python development
• Bachelor's in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience 
• Top Secret clearance requirement

Bonus points if you have:

• Interest In:
  • Multiple programming languages in addition to Python like Java or C#
  • Scaling systems on AWS
  • Experience with microservice architecture and containerization.
• Experience with:
  • Working on a cross functional team
  • Amazon Web Services: Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS
  • DevOps best practices: Jenkins, CI/CD
• Comfortable with:
  • Agile development
  • Customer feedback
  • Continuous Integration environments

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
