Adventist HealthCare AMG Rehab Outpatient Services seeks to hire an experienced Athletic Trainer in Physician Practice who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As an Athletic Trainer in Physician Practice, you will:
•Work with physician specialist in outpatient PM&R/Sports Medicine clinic, treating a variety of musculoskeletal/concussion patients
•Intake patients and perform specialized testing
•Provide patient education on home exercises/ergonomics, and assist with occasional in-office procedures
•Triage and prepare Charts (reviewing records/radiology)
•Screen and address patient questions/calls
•Manage the schedule
•Complete patient forms and letters

Qualifications include:

•B.S. or M.S. in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited institution
•1 year of experience in physician practice or Athletic Training in a High School/College is preferred, not required
•Eligible for a Maryland Athletic Training License, BOC ATC Certified, CPR/AED Certification (American Heart Association)
•Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm- Rockville

Thursday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm- White Oak

Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
