As a Brand Designer at Rocket Money, you will:

• Interpret and Enhance Design Language: Develop and expand Rocket Money’s visual language with a focus on product marketing, in-app messaging, and product illustrations.
• Creative Development: Start from rough concepts and progress to clearly defined designs, contributing illustrations, email designs, icons, conceptual UI/UX, and other graphic elements.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product managers, senior designers, and other team members to ensure designs align with the company's vision and project requirements in a timely fashion.
• Design and Illustration: Research, conceptualize, visualize, and refine icon and illustration systems that embody the Rocket Money brand.
• Brand Asset Management: Maintain and manage brand assets and illustration systems, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Project Participation: Engage in all stages of project development, from pitching creative concepts to interpreting feedback and collaborating with the team to launch projects.
• Regular Feedback: Embrace early and frequent feedback loops, collaborating with stakeholders to refine and improve design solutions.

RESPONSIBILITES 🤝

• Research and develop icon and illustration systems.
• Create and manage brand assets for various digital channels.
• Work within brand guidelines to produce emails, digital assets, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and other teams.
• Translate project requirements into compelling visual designs.
• Present and pitch creative concepts effectively.
• Iterate on multiple design concepts simultaneously.
• Prepare files for handoff to product stakeholders with precision and clarity.

ABOUT YOU 🦄

• Experience: 3+ years in brand design, illustration, and/or product design.
• Skills: Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma.
• UI/UX Familiarity: Understanding of UI/UX principles and their application in design.
• Time Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Personality: A warm, collaborative approach with a passion for illustration and design systems.
• Versatility: Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Technical Skills: Bonus points for proficiency in HTML, CSS, and CRM software
• Research and develop icon and illustration systems.
