Schedule: Full time; primarily Monday through Friday, 9:30a-7:30p with rotating weekends/holidays. More details are available upon interviewing.

Job Summary
As the Patient Services Manager, you will support the successful operation of Food & Nutrition Services in an acute care hospital, with a focus on patient meals. This role oversees daily food service for approximately 280 patients, leads a team of 32 hourly associates, and ensures the delivery of nutritious meals, high‑quality service and patient satisfaction. We are seeking a high‑energy leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and is committed to building and sustaining strong operational systems and processes. This role requires someone who can balance relationship‑building with hands‑on execution, foster team engagement while maintaining accountability to departmental goals, and consistently demonstrate big‑picture thinking, proactive planning, and decisive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population
- Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members
- Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations
- Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals
- Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
- Participates in/ leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of food and nutrition or dietary management experience in an acute care hospital, senior living/long term care facility, or related healthcare setting
- Certified Dietary Manager, Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in nutrition, hospitality, food and beverage, or related field of study
- Strong leadership, management and coaching skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- ServSafe® certification
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet, electronic medical record, and diet office systems
