Overview:

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Program Manager, Planning and Coordination. This position involves extensive engagement within our organization, including interacting with executive leadership. What you’d be doing: 

  • Developing and managing the roadmap for new product development and maintenance across our insurance portfolios. 
  • Leading coordinators in Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Expanded Markets. 
  • Cultivating a culture of accountability, efficiency, and personal development among the Program Coordinators. 
  • Supervise the overall work intake, capacity management, and work forecast within the “Product Factory” for our insurance portfolios. 
  • Planning, scoping, and coordinating strategic and tactical projects aimed at enhancing our products. 
  • Anticipate potential impacts and cross-functional change management related to new products or product changes. 
  • Develop and execute ongoing and topical enterprise-wide product communications and coordinate weekly planning related to the insurance portfolios. 
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the insurance program ecosystem, driving functional ownership of deliverables. 
  • Provide coaching for JIRA management and ticket workflow. 
  • Identify and address delivery pain points across the “Product Factory” within Program Operations. 
  • Establish systems to ensure appropriate leadership input for all process improvements. 

 We’re looking for someone who has:  

  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Previous experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry. 
  • 5-7 years of project management / project coordination experience 
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and business-oriented stakeholders. 
  • Strong attention to detail and structured thinking. 
  • Enterprise-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. 
  • Effective communication of complex technical and business matters, both written and verbal. 
  • Quick learner with the ability to apply new concepts rapidly and effectively.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, reaching logical and sound decisions. 
  • Excellent coordination skills, with high energy and a sense of urgency. 

Highly preferred candidates also have:  

  • Experience with workforce management software (e.x. JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheets). 
  • Proficiency in data analytics tool Alteryx. 
  • Project Management or Agile certifications.
