Table Games Floor Supervisor

Position: Table Games Floor Supervisor Hourly: $21.72 (Negotiable Full Time + Shift Differential)

Location: Gaming Division Reports to: Table Games Pit Boss

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained in line with North Star Mohican Casino Resort policies.
• Supervise and motivate employees, address customer complaints, and resolve conflicts between players and dealers in a positive manner.
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record and punctuality when reporting to work.
• Adhere to and enforce all established rules, regulations, procedures, and policies of the casino and the Table Games Department.
• Perform operational supervision of all table games according to departmental guidelines and internal controls.
• Successfully complete blackjack dealer training programs offered by North Star Mohican Casino Resort.
• Foster a positive team environment and encourage collaboration among staff.
• Comply with the Casino’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
• Maintain compliance with workplace policies, gaming ordinances, and all communicated expectations from supervisory or regulatory personnel.
• Other duties as assigned, which may evolve based on organizational needs.

 Qualifications & Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License and pass a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB).
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Minimum of two years’ experience dealing table games, with knowledge of blackjack, dice, poker, and roulette.
• At least one year of full-time supervisory experience in table games or two years in a dual rate/supervisory role.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform intermediate math and maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Must pass proficiency tests with a score of at least 80% in each area of table games.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible for insurance under the employer’s liability insurance.

 Work Conditions:

• Constant hand and arm movements, including repetitive motions such as reaching and shuffling cards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Specific vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and color vision, with the ability to focus on card and chip details.
• Work is performed in a casino environment with elevated noise levels.
• Evening, weekend, and irregular shifts may be required.
• Maintain excellent personal hygiene due to close interactions with guests and colleagues.
• The work environment is non-smoking and dust-free.
